This exhibition was officially held by the Light and Shade Art Museum and Mr. Feng Yu, Mr. Feng Zikai’s grandson, from November 16 to December 13, 2021 in Zhangzhou Light and Shade Art Museum. A total of 123 works by Master Feng Zikai were exhibited. The number “123” is also to commemorate the 123rd anniversary of Mr. Feng Zikai’s birth. The exhibition is rich in content, including works from the Children’s Pictures and the Protection for Living Beings (Volume 3). In particular, besides Mr. Feng Zikai’s works, visitors could also learn about his little-known anecdotes during his time in Fujian province. This exhibition aims to encourage people to keep moving forward to a better life, using comics of different lives. At the same time, it hopes to make the public step out of the modern fast-paced life and enable them to regain the extraordinary creativity and imagination in their hearts, and find their innocence in the cartoon kingdom full of naivete and interest.
