From January 18, 2019 to February 20, 2019 the “Wenxin Jiangnan Romance of Feng: Special Exhibition of the Art of Feng Zikai” was opened in Shanghai Haipai Art Museum. The special exhibition, which contained over 200 pieces of Feng Zikai’s calligraphy and painting works (sets) and 168 covers of binding design books, gathered precious collections of the Shanghai Artists Association and the private collections of Feng Zikai’s family. Among these works, the 25-meter-long calligraphy scroll titled “Wenren Zhuyu (Treasures of Scholars)”, collecting 201 poems loved by Feng Zikai, was displayed for the first time, which was especially rare. The exhibition was also divided into ten different parts, such as “poetic image” “childlike heart” “humanistic way” “Feng Zikai’s Friends” and “the Real Scene of Riyue Tower”. With the exhibition of various physical items, such as paintings, exhibits, books and application of modern technologies like interactive device, it explored the exhibition mode of cross-border integration, and presented the life story of the great artist, who was praised for his virtue and art, in a comprehensive and tridimensional manner.
